3M (TM) Double-Sided Tape with Polyester Carrier UCT-50 is an exceptionally clear double-sided tape for screen mounting that offers 90% light transmission and 1.1% haze. A polyester (PET) backing and two PET liners provide dimensional stability during die-cutting with a silicone-free acrylic adhesive. This tape is manufactured on a clean room coater to keep your end products free from dust and dirt. Clean and Clear Bonding for Light Transmission 3M (TM) Double-Sided Tape with Polyester Carrier UCT-50 is a double-sided acrylic tape designed for 90% light transmission and only 1.1% haze, making it ideal for bonding screens, lenses and backlit graphics. In addition to the exceptionally clear polyester (PET) backing and adhesive, this tape is manufactured in a clean room and protected with a liner on each side to keep your end products free from dust and dirt. The PET backing and liners also ensure dimensional stability during die-cutting. Without the liner, this tape is 2.0 mil (0.050 mm) thick. The silicone-free acrylic adhesive leaves no silicone residue.
