These product benefits enable higher productivity and lower overall costs compared to other fiber and roughing wheels when grinding a variety of metals, including stainless steel and other temperature-sensitive alloys. This long life fiber disc removes up to 56% more material compared to the 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II Fiber Disc 987C, 36+ and features high stock removal at a wide range of contact pressures. It also features a grinding aid that minimizes temperatures for working on temperature-sensitive alloys.
