The 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II fabric abrasive belts 947A are characterized by the usual durability and speed of the 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II products. They produce a uniform sanding pattern without tarnishing. Thanks to the new grain mixture on an X-fabric backing, this belt is more flexible than previous 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II abrasive belts. They are particularly suitable for hand-held machines at low to medium pressure. 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II Fabric Abrasive Belt 947A has a slightly lighter X-fabric backing and is therefore ideal for work in the edge area and for light weld seam processing. The proportion of 3M precision-formed ceramic grain (grain triangles) contributes significantly to the performance of the abrasive belt. The triangular flakes retain their sharp grain edges during the sanding process. These continuously clean the surface of the workpiece. The result is fast, cool sanding and an extended service life of the abrasive.
