The 3M (TM) Filament Reinforced Insulating Tape 1039 is 7.0 mil thick, solvent resistant and has a polyester film/glass filament backing and a chemical resistant acrylic adhesive. The tape is designed for 600 V and can withstand a temperature range of 40 to 130 °C. 3M (TM) Filament Reinforced Insulation Tape 1039 is designed for dry-type transformers, motor windings and low-voltage applications requiring dielectric strength and mechanical strength. This conformable tape offers excellent dielectric strength, high tensile strength and low stretch. The unique coating on this tape ensures excellent adhesion with diamond paper and the insulation epoxy during the transformer firing process. The tape is ideal for attaching end anchors and lead wires to coils. It is easy to handle during coil winding thanks to its rigidity. UL listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
