3M (TM) Copper Foil Shielding Tape 1181 features a smooth, 0.036 mm thick copper foil backing with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive and a protective cover. The uncoated copper foil tape with conductive adhesive is a common EMI shielding tape where corrosion resistance is required. The 3M (TM) EMC Copper Shielding Tape 1181 is a copper foil with conductive acrylic adhesive. Its excellent corrosion resistance and very good punchability significantly extend its areas of application. With an electrical resistance of five milliohms, the copper foil, which is only 0.066 millimetres thick, has good conductivity and can also be used for earthing and discharging electrostatic charges in addition to EMC applications. The adhesive tape is flame-retardant in accordance with UL 510 and its adhesive is resistant to solvents, which ensures long-lasting functionality.
