3M (TM) Copper Foil EMI Shielding Tape 1182 is a 3.5 mil thick shielding tape with acrylic adhesive. This flame retardant tape is designed to physically and electrically bond two surfaces together. Its protective film is removable and it allows for easy application and punching. The tape is suitable for dry applications at a rated voltage of 600 V. The 3M (TM) Paper Insulation Tape 1182 has a soft copper foil backing and a pressure-sensitive, electrically conductive acrylic adhesive coating on both sides to ensure reliable adhesion. The conductive particles in the adhesive ensure low resistance between the substrates and the carrier material. The structure of this tape makes it a good method for bonding and grounding conductive surfaces. UL listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
