The transparent ET 54 polyester film with thermosetting rubber adhesive has a breakdown voltage of 5500 V. Insulation class: B (130 °C) 3M (TM) Polyester Film 54 is a particularly thin and elastic insulating tape that is characterized by its high adhesive strength. While the thermosetting rubber adhesive is extremely resistant to "flagging", the carrier has a very high tear and abrasion resistance. The 0.06 millimeter thin adhesive tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 5,500 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, belongs to insulation class B. The transparent polyester film is ideal for fine wire coils, as it allows the correct contact assignment to be checked visually.
