The 3M (TM) Glass Fiber Fabric Tape 79 is a printable adhesive tape used for coils/transformers and motors. Applications include the outer wrap of bobbins, mandrel coils, conductor terminal panel brackets, end and lead anchors and connectors. This tape is rated for 600 V and can withstand a temperature range of 0 to 150 °C. The 3M (TM) Adhesive Tape 79 has a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that provides optimum adhesion and is edge tear resistant. This conformable tape is solvent resistant and has a glass fabric backing that will not shrink or rot and is non-flammable. This ensures maximum stability. The printable adhesive tape was developed for binding and strapping. It is excellent at absorbing resins and varnishes. UL listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
