The 3M (TM) 307D fabric tape is a tape made of high-grade corundum with an open coating and a flexible J-backing material. Our tapes conform well to contours and complex workpieces and are suitable for dry applications. Use the 3M (TM) 307D cloth belt for dry applications and for sanding contours and complex workpieces. Our belts are made of open-grit aluminum oxide with a flexible J-backing material. The robust aluminum oxide abrasive means a high removal rate and is well suited for most metals. The flexible cloth backing provides ideal conformability. The open scatter helps to divert sanding dust away from the belt. This enables more aggressive stock removal and a longer service life. This means increased productivity. 307D belts are suitable for dry applications and resin-bonded to extend their service life.
