The 3M (TM) Fabric Sanding Belt 341D is an aluminum oxide fabric belt recommended for metal deburring, general metalworking and some woodworking applications. It can be used for wide belt and edge sanders or portable belt sanders as well as a variety of applications on metal substrates and wood. This product is the universal sanding tool for machine woodworking, metalworking and parquet sanding. The grit range starts at P24. This makes the sanding belt ideal for solid wood sanding in the coarse grit range (e.g. calibrating stair treads). The stable X-fabric backing provides good support for the abrasive grain and ensures a high removal rate. A high tear resistance is also achieved. The coordinated aluminum oxide coating ensures a positive cut, good sharpness and controlled stock removal and offers optimum service life and performance in all areas.
