The 3M (TM) Glass Fabric Tape 361 is suitable for applications where high temperature resistance is required. This tape has a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive for applications that require high bond strength, durability, good holding power and residue-free removal. The abrasion-resistant tape is suitable for sealing high-temperature pipes and chambers, masking during plasma spraying and other applications where high tear strength and temperature resistance are required. It is characterized by a thermosetting silicone adhesive and is suitable for applications that require high adhesive strength, durability, high mechanical and thermal resistance and residue-free removal. It has a short-term temperature resistance of up to +290 °C, depending on the type of heat source and duration of exposure. With prolonged exposure to heat in excess of 232 °C, the adhesive gradually degrades, causing the adhesive strength of the tape to diminish and the glass fabric backing to darken.
