Printing, converting or other processes are not impaired by the tape. 3M (TM) Traction Tape 5401 is a single-sided adhesive, silicone-coated glass fabric tape. 3M fiberglass fabric tapes are characterized by high temperature resistance, high adhesive strength and a very durable, abrasion-resistant backing material. The backing material is glass fiber reinforced and does not shrink, age or burn. It is highly resistant in production environments and can be used at temperatures of up to 148.8 °C. The backing material is adaptable and can be applied to guide rollers in a spiral or over the entire surface to optimize processes in systems and machines. The adhesive tape is applied by hand. It is mainly used to improve the adhesion of materials that are conveyed over rollers or drive rollers during printing, flexographic printing, processing of roll goods and other processes.
