The transparent ET 58 polyester film with acrylic adhesive has a breakdown voltage of 7000 V. Insulation class: B (130 °C) 3M (TM) Polyester Film 58 is a particularly thin and elastic insulating tape that is characterized by its high adhesive and tear strength. While the thermosetting rubber adhesive is extremely resistant to "flagging", the carrier has a very high tear and abrasion resistance. The 0.08 millimeter thin adhesive tape can withstand a breakdown voltage of 7,000 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, belongs to insulation class B. The transparent polyester film is ideal for covering coils and for interlayer insulation where high dielectric strength is required.
