The Scotch-Brite (TM) Hookit (TM) Production Clean and Finish abrasive disc ensures a high removal rate, a long service life, a high-quality finish and is suitable for the effective preparation of aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, wood and fiberglass. Our discs are equipped with aluminum oxide abrasive, which is a preferred choice of professional users in the industry due to its high removal rate and long service life. They are unique surface finishing products with abrasives bonded into a nylon fiber web. This abrasive material is tough and durable, breaking away evenly during use to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas conventional abrasives such as garnet wear away quickly with use. Aluminum oxide abrasive is often used for grinding work in addition to finishing due to its high removal rate, hardness, strength and low heat generation.
