It can be used successfully with most solvent or water-based paint systems and has exceptionally good paint release properties due to its thinness. Possible applications: Ideal in the OEM transportation industry for masking when painting metal and plastic surfaces. Withstands heat stress and can be removed without leaving any residue. Scotch (R) High Temperature Paint Line Tape 4737 has a heat resistant vinyl liner for clean removal in one piece, saving production time. The combination of vinyl liner and rubber adhesive with 30 minute burn cycles at high temperatures up to 149ºC provides a strong hold and leaves minimal adhesive residue upon removal. It is designed for indoor use only. It should not be used outdoors.
