The 3M (TM) Trizact (TM) Finesse-it (TM) Film Disc 466LA is a self-adhesive abrasive for sanding out partial imperfections, e.g. paint inclusions, scratches, etc. on painted surfaces. Use the 3M (TM) Trizact (TM) Finesse-it (TM) Film Disc Roll 466LA on a variety of topcoats to meet most finishing and process requirements. Our rolls are ideal for use with rotary tools and mini random orbital sanders to give a consistent, high-quality finish, ready for polishing, to clear coats, paint, glass, Corian and acrylic on automotive parts. Use them as part of our two-step repair process for paint defects when finishing automotive parts. The disc rollers use microreplication technology, where microscopic silicon carbide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral. These are then bonded to a pressure-resistant polyester backing. Unlike conventional abrasives, these discs remain sharp and provide a predictable, high-quality finish. Our film disc rolls are available in three grit sizes - A3, A5 and A7. Each roll consists of 5 individual sanding discs with film backing. Each disc is designed for quick accessibility and mounting on rotary tools or random orbital sanders. Trizact sanding discs last up to five times longer than conventional sanding discs. They provide precise finishing control, allowing the operator to reduce the number of passes with different grits, reducing the number of process steps and abrasives required. These abrasives also offer the advantage of three-dimensional structures that are evenly distributed over the entire surface of the abrasive to ensure consistent performance and uniformity of the wheels.
