The 3M (TM) Electrically Conductive Single Sided Tape Series 1050TC is an electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive tape (CPSA) that is equipped with an adhesive that is electrically conductive in all 3 spatial axes (XYZ). It helps to ensure that devices meet the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility. It consists of a carrier made of conductive copper foil, a layer of conductive acrylic adhesive and a peelable polyester film (PET). This copper tape has excellent conductivity in the XYZ axes and reliably establishes electrical contact with small grounding surfaces. It provides excellent EMI shielding and reliable electrical contact over time. The thin product structure is ideal for applications with limited space in height (Z-axis). As a single-sided, thin adhesive tape, it offers relatively high adhesive strength and good grounding to many types of surfaces.
