The 3M (TM) backing pad DH-AC allows you to quickly and easily change Scotch-Brite (TM) abrasive discs in multi-stage processes. Our backing pads are available in a range of sizes, hardnesses and mounting options. 3M (TM) backing pad with "T" shaped hook for secure attachment and quick and easy change of a non-woven disc. Our backing pads are available in different sizes, foam densities and mounting options. They have a center hole with an internal thread. All you have to do is select the thread size that matches the size of the external thread of your angle grinder. Thanks to the hook and loop fastening, the disc can be reused, which means it retains its sanding performance for longer. The wheels are available separately. Surface preparation products with a 3M backing pad allow you to create finishes that are suitable for painting. Our sanding discs are available with or without a threaded shaft.
