3M (TM) Filament Reinforced Insulating Tape 1076 is a 10 mil thick filament insulating tape. This tape is designed for oil-filled distribution transformer applications and ensures a stable bond even after prolonged exposure to transformer fluids. The tape features a paper backing reinforced with glass filament fleece designed for electrical applications and a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that is resistant to oil. The 3M (TM) 1076 tape has a backing material that ensures complete saturation, reducing the risk of leaving blank spots. The unique coating on this tape ensures excellent adhesion with diamond paper and the insulation epoxy during the transformer firing process. It can withstand a temperature range of 40 to 105 °C and ensures excellent handling during coil winding thanks to its rigidity. RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
