The 3M (TM) composite foil insulating tape 44 is low halogen, edge tear resistant and suitable for general insulating applications as well as for anchoring and wrapping motors and transformers. The tape is designed for 600 V and can withstand a temperature range of 0 to 130 °C. The 3M (TM) Composite Insulation Tape Super 44 is characterized by a backing material consisting of a combination of polyester fabric and polyester film coated with a thermosetting pressure sensitive rubber adhesive. The tape is highly resistant to heat, oxidation, solvents and oils. With excellent dielectric strength, this tape is tough, puncture resistant and has superior electrical properties. It is ideal for rod-wound coils/transformers and for protecting ignition wires, cables, terminal blocks, insulating paper and end anchors. UL listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
