The 3M (TM) hazard warning tapes are printed, cold-resistant and adaptable adhesive tapes for warning of cables and lines The 3M (TM) route warning tape is a cold-resistant and adaptable adhesive tape for marking cables and lines. It is available as standard with the imprints "Attention cables" and "Attention power cables". The tape is designed to be applied 40 centimetres above electrical, gas or water pipes. The bright yellow color draws the attention of construction machinery operators to cables and wires during excavation work to prevent them from being damaged. This warning tape is color-fast and permanently legible as it is coated with clear varnish over the print.
