Application

Thread cutting and forming on machines with driven spindle and manual feed. Machine type: Box column drills and radial drills.

Execution

• These devices are designed for thread cutting on drills with manual feed and without reversing the direction of the spindle.
• When inserting into the machine, the stop arm must be secured against twisting to ensure that the device works.
• The integrated reversing gear means that thread cutting is possible without reversing the direction of the spindle.
• Double feed in reverse motion.
• Screw tap quick-change system.

Advantage

• By withdrawing the machine spindle once the thread depth has been reached, the apparatus is automatically switched. The switching process is performed using a low-wear ball system.
• The apparatus is maintenance-free and can be used for right-hand and left-hand threads.
• Rapid tool changing.
• Very flexible.
