The HSS twist drill PointTeQ enables fast drilling in metal thanks to the PointTeQ design at the drill tip. Quick and easy drilling is possible as the self-centring tip prevents wandering. Less heat and wear is generated due to the increased drilling rate. The PointTeQ design on the drill tip remains sharp and withstands continuous use. This drill bit is designed for drilling through and center holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastic. There is a low risk of breakage, especially for drills with a diameter of less than 6 mm, as the drill has been manufactured to have a highly elastic body. The black oxide coated flute allows for quick chip removal. The PointTeQ HSS twist drill is manufactured in accordance with DIN 338. The drill bit is type N (small side chip angle) with a point angle of 135 degrees.
