The F550 Expert for Metal abrasive belt has an outstanding material removal rate on metal surfaces. The zirconia corundum grains combine excellent material removal with high durability that almost matches that of glass fiber discs. The high material removal rate during the belt run ensures minimal force is required to achieve the desired results. The vulcanized F-paper offers wear resistance and stability on hard materials. It is used for dry grinding of steel, steel alloys, stainless steel (Inox) and titanium as well as for roughening surfaces and grinding weld seams and transitions. It is also suitable for grinding, deburring, cleaning and derusting steel, stainless steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals. Thanks to the surface with electrostatically closed scattering and the cooling additives, metal is optimally removed. The fully synthetic resin bond of the abrasive grains on vulcanized F-fibre paper ensures wear resistance under the toughest conditions. The sanding sheet can be handled, changed and fixed quickly and easily thanks to the Bosch hook and loop fastening system.
