The step drill bit is suitable for thin materials made of non-ferrous metal, stainless steel and plastic as well as sheet steel and plastic sheets. The drill bit is made of HSS steel and coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The service life when using coolant is exceptionally long. The easily recognizable and permanent diameter markings in both spiral flutes are lasered. The 3-face shank also prevents slipping in the chuck and enables high torques to be transmitted.
