PFERD COMBIDISC grinding disc CDR diameter 50 mm VICTOGRAIN-COOL60 for steel and stainless steel. Excellent for surface and edge grinding. The fibre backing reinforces the grinding disc and improves material removal. The VICTOGRAIN abrasive grains are fixed to the backing with one side of the triangle. This means they are particularly firmly bonded and, in combination with the slim shape, offer an extremely large chip space, making the machining process even more efficient. The structural design of the VICTOGRAIN triangles is also specially adapted. The very small crystals within the triangle offer optimum wear behaviour: very sharp cutting edges are always available, but only the necessary minimum of the abrasive grain/triangle breaks away. The combination of these properties offers the user ultimate, consistent maximum performance with cool grinding and an extremely long service life with uniform surface roughness of the workpiece. The CDR clamping system has a screw connection with external thread (plastic) on the tool side.
