Designed with your needs in mind. The Dremel 8240 has been designed to meet your needs. From the ergonomic tool design to the switch positioning: every detail has been thought through in this cordless multi-tool. The feel and look are typical of Dremel, impressing with a super-simple design and a logical switch layout. The tool now runs more quietly and at a lower temperature (compared to the Dremel 8220), so you can focus all your attention on your project. What’s more, the soft-grip handle fits perfectly in your hand. The speed control on the Dremel 8240 is located in the centre, exactly where your thumb rests on the tool. The Dremel 8240 also features a motor brake, which ensures greater control and safety. The motor brake does not slow down the rotation, but stops it immediately when the tool is switched off.
