Application

For clamping straight-shank tools. In HSC applications and for high-precision machining results in CENTRO|P.

• HP collets with small concentricity and repeat tolerance of 2 µm (for system tolerance of 3 µm and with 3 x dia. maximum = 50 mm), clamp bridge h10.
• For ATORN precision collet chucks and Fahrion CENTRO|P precision collet chucks.
• Super-finished surface for enhanced retention force.

• Clamping bridge (T) = clamping diameter (d) - value of clamping bridge (T)
• With FAHRION|Protect = corrosion protection for a longer service life.
• Coloured ring for identification (no sealing function).
• High-precision design without seal.

Advantage

• Collets do not need to be replaced as often or can be used longer for specific applications.

Notes

For applications that require the highest concentricity, it is essential to observe the accuracy of the overall system (machine tool spindle, collet chuck holder, clamping nut, collet chuck and tool).
