The GESIPA MEGA GRIP is a high-strength structural blind rivet with an extra-large clamping range. The variable clamping range enables cost-effective use and reduces handling costs by combining up to five blind rivet lengths into a single MEGA GRIP size. The setting process. During the setting process, the hollow mandrel head presses the hollow rivet against the rivet hole wall with great force. The radial deformation ensures coverage of an above-average clamping area. The rivet mandrel remaining in place throughout the entire setting length guarantees that the high shear forces are maintained through double locking. The excellent hole flange properties also provide optimum protection against splash water. MEGA GRIP blind rivets – standard or custom-made? The GESIPA MEGA GRIP is available in flat-round head and countersunk head variants and comes as standard in the material combinations aluminium/aluminium and steel/steel.
