BULB-TITE blind rivets. Powerful performance with excellent clamping force and weather resistance for demanding applications. Originally developed for the construction sector, GESIPA BULB-TITE blind rivets have also proven their worth in many other areas of application thanks to their multifunctional properties. A large part of the BULB-TITE range is approved by the German Institute for Building Technology in Berlin, thus providing additional safety when used in steel and façade construction. Powerful in application. The shear zone overlap of the BULB-TITE blind rivet mandrel during application enables very high shear forces to be achieved on a permanent basis. Weather resistance. The use of a special mandrel during the installation of the BULB-TITE blind rivet forms a flange on the head side that seals against the rivet mandrel, preventing dirt and/or moisture from penetrating the joint. The optionally available sealing washer provides additional protection beneath the head against moisture and damp from below. Excellent clamping force. The three large clamping tabs that are formed distribute the clamping forces optimally over a large area of the surface, so that even soft, thin, flexible and even brittle materials can be securely riveted without destroying them or damaging the surface. Demanding applications. BULB-TITE blind rivets ensure reliable performance even where other rivets fail. The three flanges of the closing head conform to even curved application surfaces, enabling secure riveting on pipes, in beads and on other unusually shaped components. Multi-Grip. GESIPA BULB-TITE rivets cover a wide clamping range. This means fewer sizes are required, thereby reducing handling and storage costs. Areas of application.
