TAURUS 1-4 Axial. The TAURUS 1-4 series in the Axial version – for specialised applications. Applications. The special design of the TAURUS Axial allows for integration into production lines whilst also enabling flexible and ergonomic manual operation in applications with restricted access that therefore require riveting from above. To ensure that the components to be riveted lie flush against one another and that the setting head is in contact, the TAURUS Axial can also be supplied with a pressure-activated trigger. An external extraction system is recommended for all Axial units, except the Axial eco. An additional air supply is required for safe rivet mandrel extraction. Depending on the application, this is best achieved via the balancer with valve or the time-delay valve. Working range: Processing of blind rivets up to 6.4 mm in diameter in all materials and up to 8 mm in diameter in aluminium (max. mandrel diameter 4.5 mm).
