CS 411 Y belts, 20 x 520 mm, grain 36 F4G. Advantages: Tear-resistant filing belt for use on belt files – particularly high aggressiveness and grinding performance thanks to abrasive active ingredients – especially for stainless steel, but also for steel and metal in general. The waterproof CS 411 Y abrasive belt can be used in a wide range of metalworking applications. Examples include aircraft construction, the automotive industry, the manufacture of pipes and railings, and apparatus and container construction. The tear-resistant polyester backing ensures high load-bearing capacity. The grain consists of self-sharpening zirconium corundum. This ensures high aggressiveness and thus very good removal rates. The processing of stainless steel is also optimised by special abrasive active ingredients in the post-coat. These prevent premature glazing of the abrasive grain. Klingspor supplies CS 411 Y as a grinding belt for wide belt machines, vertical grinding machines, centreless grinding machines and surface grinding machines, as well as in a file belt version for hand band files. The available grit sizes range from medium to very coarse.
