For synchronous measurement on 2–4 carburettors with vacuum connection on the carburettor after adjusting and checking the valve clearances, the carburettors should be synchronised. Due to tolerances in the intake system, adjusting the throttle valve stops is not sufficient. Dynamic adjustment is required here. Synchronisation achieves equal vacuum in front of the carburettors. One dial gauge per carburettor is required for synchronisation. The individual carburettors are adjusted using adjustment mechanisms.
