The Wallbox is protected by an RCD type B residual current circuit breaker and thus meets the highest safety standards. The high-quality plastic housing is suitable for safe outdoor operation of the efuturo Wallbox. The integrated type 2 socket connects the Wallbox and your electric or hybrid vehicle quickly and easily with your personal type 2 charging cable. After a brief communication between the wallbox and the vehicle, the vehicle battery begins charging without access control. The optionally available stand further enhances your wallbox. With the efuturo wallbox, it is possible to significantly reduce charging time. While the charging cycle for a Renault Zoe takes approx. 25 hours at a household socket (2.3 kW), it takes approx. 16 hours with a 3.7 kW wallbox and only 4.5 hours with an 11 kW wallbox. It is up to 10 times faster with a 22 kW wallbox, reducing the charging time to approx. 2.5 hours. It should be noted that our standard household sockets are not designed for the amounts of electricity required to charge electric and hybrid vehicles. Although it is possible to charge vehicles from sockets, this should only be considered a temporary solution. The simple design of the efuturo wallbox saves you from any nasty surprises when you receive your electrician's bill. The components used are very familiar to your electrician. The extremely expensive RCD type B residual current circuit breaker is already integrated into the efuturo Wallbox. This guarantees you the highest level of safety and means that the circuit breaker does not have to be additionally installed in an external switch cabinet by a specialist. Unfortunately, due to the very small size of the Wallbox housing, it is not possible to integrate an electricity meter into our efuturo Wallboxes with 11 kW or 22 kW. We offer an additional electricity meter for this purpose. This can be easily mounted by an electrician in the switch cabinet on a top-hat rail and connected in front of the wallbox. This MID-calibrated electricity meter allows you to read the power consumption. This enables you to monitor your power consumption. Landlords can use the MID-calibrated electricity meter to bill their tenants for the charging current consumption.
