With four forward modes, two reverse modes, an auto-stop mode and various speed settings, this tool ensures high torque in every situation. The DTW1005 brushless impact wrench combines high performance with a 138 mm long shaft and a 3/4" external square drive. Ideal for loosening and tightening bolts and nuts, even in recessed areas such as on lorry rear wheels. Powered by an 18V LXT battery, this impact wrench delivers a maximum tightening torque of 1,360 Nm and a loosening torque of 1,700 Nm. Compared to a DTW1001 used with a corresponding extension, the torque of the DTW1005 is up to 40 per cent higher. (as there is no need for an additional connector for the extension). XPT – eXtreme Protection Technology ensures high water resistance, enabling this tool to operate reliably even in harsh environments. Equipped with four forward and two reverse rotation modes, including an auto-stop system. Forward mode 1: Stops immediately upon contact (30–50 Nm), which corresponds to the manual pre-tightening of large lorry tyres. Forward mode 2: Stops approx. 0.3 seconds after contact (50–150 Nm), which corresponds to the initial tightening of large lorry tyres. Forward mode 3: Stops approx. 0.5 seconds after contact (300–450 Nm), which corresponds to temporarily tightening large lorry tyres. Forward mode 4: Tightening at maximum speed. Mode 3 – Reverse: After quickly loosening the screw connection, the speed is automatically reduced for greater comfort and safety. Mode 4 – Reverse: After loosening the screw connection at maximum speed, the maximum speed is maintained to quickly complete the tightening process. The DTW1005 features two LED lights for better visibility of the work area and a mode to reduce finger fatigue when operating the trigger.
