PFERD 2 metre flexible shaft BW 7 DIN10/G22 with rigid extension STV27 L300 without handpiece 25,000-11,000 RPM. Flexible shafts consist of three components that can be combined in different ways: the flexible core (SE), the protective hose (SCH) and the handpiece (HA). The flexible core consists of four to ten layers of wire in accordance with DIN 2076, specially designed for high-speed clockwise rotation. The core coupling is firmly pressed on. After approx. 100 operating hours, the core of a flexible shaft must be relubricated. The protective hose is made of oil-resistant rubber, with a flat steel spiral on the inside and solid rubber on the outside. The connection couplings are firmly pressed on and covered with rubber sleeves for reinforcement. The handpieces are light and easy to handle and cover a wide speed range. In continuous operation, low running noise allows for fatigue-free working. Interchangeable collets allow a wide variety of tools to be used. The sliding connection allows for quick handpiece changes. If the power requirement is reduced, the speed range can be lowered. The bending radius must not be less than 140 mm. After approx. 100 operating hours, the core of a flexible shaft must be relubricated.
