Particularly suitable for deburring difficult-to-machine components such as cylinder heads or gear wheels due to the plastic fill. Specially developed for industrial use. Composite brushes from PFERD have been specially developed for industrial, automated use. They are suitable for a wide range of machining tasks and can be used on many different drive machines thanks to their variable clamping options. This offers the advantage that production and reworking of the workpiece can be carried out on the same machine. As a result, labor-intensive manual work can be reduced and reproducible results with short cycle times can be achieved. For efficient use, numerous application parameters such as processing time and feed rate must be coordinated and the appropriate brush selected. Brushes with silicon carbide (SiC) are particularly suitable for deburring work and surface improvement. The larger cross-section of the filaments makes them stiffer than round filaments and enables a larger contact surface with the workpiece. Plastic filaments can withstand temperatures of up to 220° C.
