Set of 10 pcs. cloth abrasive sheets corundum 230x280mm BG BL A40,80,100,120,180 universal. PFERD offers a wide range of coated abrasive tools for processing different workpiece geometries and materials. They consist of a backing material, a base bond and a top bond for fixing the abrasive grains. Depending on the grit size, a high material removal rate or a very fine surface finish can be achieved with tools made from coated abrasives. The available backing materials differ in their properties such as tear resistance, flexibility and wear. The choice of a suitable backing adapts the sanding tool to the requirements of the intended application: Paper is found in the woodworking industry and in skilled trades, e.g. carpenters, painters and varnishers, fabric is mainly used in metalworking, and vulcanized fibre is very wear-resistant and is mainly used in various thicknesses for the manufacture of fibre sanders. The set contains ten abrasive sheets of the blue fabric version with corundum A abrasive in various grit sizes. The blue cloth is the cost-effective alternative for normal use when processing painted surfaces on wood and metals. Woven sheets comply with ISO 21948.
