Diamond grinding wheel synthetic resin 11V9 PHST 178 mm D126 (medium) dry grinding. Resin-bonded diamond grinding wheels are often used for grinding carbide or HSS tools, but also in other production grinding processes. They are used for both wet and dry grinding. Phenolic resin bond for dry grinding with very high stock removal rates. The PHST bond type is more resilient, i.e. it allows even higher infeeds per stroke without causing thermal damage to the workpiece. Inevitably, a slightly reduced service life must be expected with this bond in favor of shorter sanding times.
