Flap wheel FR Ø 165x30mm bore Ø 25.4 mm CO-COOL60 for cool grinding on stainless steel. With flap wheels, the abrasive flaps are arranged on a backing in a radial fan shape around the axis of the tool. Thanks to their flexibility, they adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece. The abrasive grain is embedded in a synthetic resin bond on the tension-resistant flexible fabric backing. Flap wheels are listed in ISO 5429 under the designation "flap wheels". For aggressive grinding with maximum stock removal on hard materials with poor thermal conductivity. Constant maximum performance thanks to self-sharpening ceramic grain. Active grinding additives in the coating achieve a significantly higher stock removal rate, prevent clogging and result in cooler grinding.
