Hand brush for precision mechanics HBFM 4-row stainless steel wire-Ø0.15 mm. PFERD offers an extensive range of hand brushes with different shapes and fill materials. Excellent for light brushing work on fine surfaces. In order to meet the special requirements for working on stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes. Practical experience from the industrial environment confirms that it has very good corrosion resistance with an optimum service life. All PFERD brushes with INOX fill are marked blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. Wire grade 1.4310 tends to behave ferromagnetically when work hardened, i.e. it is attracted by magnets. This is due to a change in the microstructure caused by deformation, e.g. during wire drawing. This has no effect on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion-resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) can withstand temperatures of up to 450 °C. The trim material diameter of 0.15 mm enables soft brushing behavior and produces a fine surface finish.
