Miniature cup brush TBU Ø15 mm shaft-Ø3 mm stainless steel wire-Ø0.10. Suitable for light brushing work such as deburring, cleaning and polishing. Particularly suitable for brushing work on small surfaces due to the frontal insert with the entire brush surface. PFERD offers a wide range of miniature brushes for precision work. These can be used on flexible shaft drives, micromotors or electric drives. In order to meet the special requirements for processing stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes. Practical experience from the industrial environment confirms that it has very good corrosion resistance with an optimum service life. All PFERD brushes with INOX fill are marked blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. Wire grade 1.4310 tends to behave ferromagnetically when work hardened, i.e. it is attracted by magnets. This is due to a change in the microstructure caused by deformation, e.g. during wire drawing. This has no effect on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion-resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) can withstand temperatures of up to 450 °C.
