Brief description: A safety circuit is integrated into the LEG electro-pneumatic safety control block, comprising: a pressure regulating valve, a pressure switch, 2 solenoid valves, with automatic clamping time monitoring including 2 sensors and 2 evaluation units. Guaranteed pressure monitoring via automatic pulse generators until full clamping pressure is established in the chuck. Activation via a short pulse from a foot-operated pulse generator. Technical features: Supplied with an electrical control box and an R 3/8 pneumatic connection for connection to the blow-off air supply. Applications: For retrofitting to provide non-powered interlocks to prevent operation whilst the spindle is rotating, as well as spindle start-up protection during the clamping and unclamping processes.
