The testo 860i Mould Kit helps professionals to identify these risks at an early stage and assess them thoroughly. The kit consists of the testo 860i thermal imager and the testo 605i thermo-hygrometer and is ideal for HVAC tradespeople, leak detection specialists, damage restoration contractors, painting contractors and facility managers. The combination of surface temperatures in the thermal image with measurements of air temperature and relative humidity enables a reliable assessment of areas at risk of mould, long before structural damage occurs. The testo 860i captures entire wall and ceiling areas in the thermal image, making critical spots visible at a glance. In addition, the testo 605i provides the relevant climate parameters, which are overlaid directly onto the thermal image. On this basis, the testo Smart App displays a clear mould indication using a traffic light system (green, yellow, red): green indicates no risk of mould, whilst red warns of an acute risk of mould. Both measuring instruments transmit their data via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet in the testo Smart App. There, measured values and thermal images are combined, evaluated and presented in clear reports – including images, mould indication and relevant measurement data. The reports can be saved and sent directly, thus simplifying documentation and communication with customers or insurance companies. The testo 860i Mould Kit is supplied in a robust carrying case, in which the thermal imager and thermo-hygrometer are safely stowed.
