The PREMIUM SCM discs are made from the specially developed Scrim Back material, which is characterised by a high-grade grain-bonding structure. This guarantees a long service life and uniformly finished surfaces. The discs can be mounted on various backing plates. The product is available in three versions: 1. with a pre-punched centre hole; 2. with a bore for clamping using a metal ring; 3: without a bore for backing plates with a hook-and-loop fastening system. The material is available in three aluminium oxide grades for various applications: coarse (brown), medium (red) and very fine (blue). Applications: For reducing surface roughness, smoothing surfaces, cleaning and removing weld seams, and deburring edges. Machinery for the chemical and food industries (production and maintenance), stainless steel furniture, the automotive and railway industries, shipyards, the aerospace industry, propellers and jet engines, and stainless steel scaffolding.
