The PREMIUM SCM Heavy Duty (HD) discs enable high grinding performance with low surface roughness. This is due in no small part to the material composition, which consists of ceramic-coated aluminium oxide grain and thus supports aggressive machining processes. Thanks to the high stock removal rate, several grinding processes can be reduced to a single machining step. The discs can be mounted on various backing plates. The product is available in three versions: 1. with pre-punched centre hole; 2. with bore for clamping using a metal ring; 3. without bore for backing plates with a hook-and-loop fastening system. Applications: For reducing surface roughness, smoothing surfaces, cleaning and removing weld seams, and deburring edges. Machining of machinery for the chemical and food industries (production and maintenance), stainless steel furniture, shipyards, and stainless steel scaffolding.
