uvex xact-fit is an efficient and very user-friendly system for fit testing that allows you to measure exactly how much protection your earplugs actually offer you, regardless of brand or model. This innovative and extremely lightweight kit with carrying case includes Bluetooth headphones and a tablet for a wireless and quick set-up. This means the set can be used almost anywhere. The pre-installed software and cloud storage offer increased security. You can automatically upload results to the tablet and share them with other devices. It has never been so easy to carry out a fit test for hearing protection for employees. This is how the uvex xact-fit test system works: Using the Real Ear Attenuation at Threshold (REAT) measurement method, users are subjected to a series of tests in which they have to determine their hearing threshold both with and without hearing protection. This determines the lowest volume at which a sound can still be heard. This is different for each person. The personal protection factor (Personal Attenuation Rating, PAR) is determined using this type of measurement procedure. This tells you how much protection you receive depending on the fit of your earplugs.
