The 3M (TM) Polyethylene Tape 483 is easy to stretch and easy to apply to 3-dimensionally shaped surfaces. The smooth carrier material is resistant to solvents and alkalis. The adhesive tape can fulfill various universal requirements. It is suitable for sealing containers and irregularly shaped objects as well as for galvanizing, paint marking and moisture protection. It complies with the MIL-STD-2041D standard for nuclear and corrosion-sensitive applications. It can be used in temperatures between -28 °C and 76.5 °C.
