Application
The coupling nipple adapter is the counterpart to the coupling mechanism and is used in the replacement pallets in which the pull studs are also located. Couplings are used for loss-free transfer of liquid and gaseous media and are adapted to the height of the installation clamping modules.
Notes
The mounting bodies for both parts must be inserted approx. 2-3 mm before the front end sealing surfaces make contact. This is done by the coupling nipple adapter through the centring function. The medium can either be routed at the top via the pipe connection or via the O-ring connection. The radial positioning tolerance (+/- 0.2 mm) must not be exceeded. The couplings can only be coupled when unpressurised. The coupling force that occurs between the coupling nipple and the coupling mechanism due to hydraulic compression according to the formula F[N] = 15.4 x p [bar] must be taken into account.
