TAUREX Axial 1–4. The entire TAURUS series with external pressure intensifier in an axial version – for even greater flexibility, versatility and ergonomics. Applications. The TAUREX Axial, with its separate pressure intensifier, is particularly advantageous in confined spaces. The special gun of the TAUREX Axial allows for integration into production lines whilst also enabling flexible and ergonomic manual operation in applications with restricted access that therefore require riveting from above. To ensure that the components to be riveted lie flush against each other without a gap and that the setting head is in contact, the TAUREX Axial can also be supplied with a pressure-activated trigger. Depending on the application, additional external extraction may be required. An additional air supply is required for safe rivet mandrel extraction. Depending on the application, this is best achieved via the balancer with valve or the time-delay valve. Working range. Processing of blind rivets up to 6.4 mm in diameter in all materials and up to 8 mm in diameter in aluminium (max. mandrel diameter 4.5 mm). Same performance and technical data as the respective individual units of the TAURUS series 1–4. Three-metre hose length between pressure intensifier and setting gun. Technical data. Can be fitted with almost all accessories from the TAURUS series, e.g. extension units, blind rivet counters, pressure-activated triggers and remote controls. Operating handle on the riveting axis enables ergonomic working, particularly in vertical applications. Can be suspended from a balancer.
